TLT Symposium The Penn State Symposium for Teaching and Learning with Technology is an annual event bringing together people and ideas that transform education. Zoom We are working across the Commonwealth to equip Penn State classrooms and learning spaces with hardware and software that allow students to connect with instructors remotely via Zoom. Penn State Go Penn State’s all-in-one mobile app helps to connect faculty to students through single sign-on access to features like Canvas, Outlook, LionPATH, and more. Penn State Go is available to download on iOS and Android. We’re passionate about the work we do with our partners. Meet the 2022-2024 Faculty Fellows. Jacqueline Bortiatynski Capturing Classroom Engagement Data for Instructor Reflection (CCEDIR) Jacqueline’s fellowship will focus on empowering faculty by providing valuable feedback via the CCEDIR observation protocol that captures a snapshot of the nature and extent of active learning happening during a class session. Anna Divinsky, Cookie Redding, and Zena Tredinnick-Kirby Exploring 3-D Virtual Spaces: Engaging Student Communities Through Feedback and Exhibitions Anna, Cookie, and Zena will collaborate with their project team to utilize 3-D Virtual Spaces that create lifelike virtual museums in order to strengthen students’ constructive feedback, collaboration, and experimentation skills. Jeanne Marie Rose Creating Accessible Texts With Adaptive Technologies (CATWAT) Through her project, Jeanne will work toward designing a writing pedagogy that uses inclusive composition processes for students to produce accessible products that accommodate visually impaired readers. Gregory R. Pierce Using Smart Board Collaboration Tools to Revolutionize Student Learning in the Large-Format Classroom Gregory and his team will reimagine teaching and learning in large classrooms by integrating cutting-edge smart board technology to enhance student collaboration and engagement. IMEX Lab The Immersive Experiences Lab is a learning space designed specifically for 360° video creation and viewing as well as other immersive technology. Dreamery The Dreamery, located in the Shields Building, is TLT’s co-learning space where Penn Staters can explore emerging technologies. Media Commons A university-wide initiative to enrich the teaching and learning experience through multimedia technology, classroom training and direct support.
